Trust the Universe

There is only one commandment in my religion; if you like, it is a one-point program for spiritual life.

Also trust yourself. Is that two or one? Well, you’re part of the universe. Does that make 3, or does it just clarify the one?

Trust that your needs are being provided. Trust that everyone else’s needs are being provided, too. Trust that what just happened to you is for the best, even if it’s not what you thought you wanted. Trust that you can handle the challenge that is being directed your way, and that you’ll be stronger and wiser and enriched for having grown to meet the challenge.

Trust that when the Universe hands you joy, you can expand into joy with your whole heart.

Trust that you will make the right decision. Trust that if you need to figure it out, you can figure it out, and that if you need to follow your instinct, your instinct will lead you aright.

This is more than I wanted to say. It’s simpler than anything I can say. I’m sorry if I’m making it more complicated than it really is.

Trust the Universe.

To trust in the Universe, come what may.
We know not who, but how this world is run,
For you, for friends and foes, for everyone.
Trust joy and challenges that come your way.
Above all, trust yourself, your intuitions;
Trust that you’ll always make the right decisions.
